Reaching New Heights with our Marvelous Miss Meringue Tower
An easy addition to your dessert table that looks elegant and irresistible! There are 3 parts and less than a handful of items needed to make this in less than an hour.
Ingredients Needed:
Meringues (About 2 boxes or 30 Vanilla meringues for cone size 14")
White Chocolate Chips
Optional: Garnishment Edible Pearl, Bow to garnish
Items Needed:
Cone
Saucepan
Heatproof Bowl
Spatula
Knife
Step 1: Prepare Cone
Get a foam cone or assemble one using cardboard/thick paper that is food safe.
Step 2: Melt Chocolate
Heat water in a saucepan until simmering. Place chocolate melts in a heatproof bowl over the saucepan, making sure the base of the bowl doesn’t touch the water. Stir until chocolate melts. Remove bowl from pan.
Step 3: Attach Meringues to Cone
To assemble the tower, dip a spatula/knife into the melted chocolate and place it onto the bottom of the meringue. Attach the meringue to the bottom edge of the cone, holding in place for 10-20 seconds. (Optional: Place edible pearl garnishment on base before placing meringues.) Repeat to make a row of meringues around the base of the cone.
Tip: At the last space in each row, if a meringue does not fit, take a knife and trim/lightly scrape the edge of a meringue until it fits. Repeat until rows cover the cone and top with a meringue or satin bow.
